A reader wrote me saying that at the Greenville, S.C., Tea Party, "They will be selling the 'Obama burger' — you pay for one and they cut it in half and give the rest to the guy behind you for free!!" Our team needs more political theater and fewer marketing consultants.

Went to the Tea Party downtown this afternoon. It is really a crummy day for a protest, raining, 45 degrees and windy, but a pretty big crowd showed up to send a message to our government leaders that we don't like high taxes and the excessive size and cost of our governments.
Saw Sheriff Chuck Jenkins in the front of the march from City Hall to Winchester Hall, carrying an umbrella with an American flag on the shaft. Nice touch.
