Thank God for President Lincoln

On November 19th, the 142nd anniversary of The Gettysburg Address, I wrote this post discussing the relevance of President Lincoln's words to today's war with Islamic terrorists.

At the Weekly Standard.com today, David Gelernter relates President Lincoln's words with our day of Thanksgiving, and why today we should remember Lincoln's reasons for thanking God.

LATER (November 23, 2005 8:26p ET): For an alternative view, read this.  I had a hard time making it all the way through it.  I did think it was funny (to me) that Mr. Jensen is a professor of-you guessed it-journalism.
